Death Cab

I'm constantly fascinated by the words of a song. It doesn't have to involve obscure words like dirigible or fontanel. But that can be a plus thing as The Decemberists have done.

I heard Death Cab's "A Movie Script Ending" today. Upon seeing the title, it was like Aimee Mann's "That How I Knew This Story Would Break My Heart", I kinda knew I would like the song.

And I wasn't wrong.
And whatever the song is singing about, well, I don't have it.

Now we all know the words were true
In the sappiest songs, yes, yes
I'll put them to bed, but they won't sleep
They're just shuffling the sheets
They toss and turn
(You can't begin to get it back)
