That can't be true - Non sequitur

I cannot verify the stuff I am about to write. But it was told to me during an online conversation.

Single girl in club. Eyes good-looking guy, alone.

Girl thinks he's cute (why is it always "cute"?).

Girl thinks, "He must be attached. If he is not, he must be a player. He has neat hair and wears decent clothes. Perhaps he is gay."

After 15 minutes and the guy is still alone, she thinks that he must be a weirdo and probably a loner with a serious character flaw. Anti-social perhaps.

After 30 minutes and guy is still alone, she confirms her intuition. He IS a weirdo AND anti-social.

However if the guy is seen talking to another girl, she will think, "That must be his girlfriend."

But if guy starts to approaches her after noticing that she had been throwing glances across, she confirms that he is a player.
Worse if he approaches her after he was seen talking to another girl (supposed girlfriend).

And to round things off, if male friends start to join him, she confirms that he is gay.

yes... cute is most universal to the varying degree of attractiveness... and yes, the scenario seems totally right... 50% of guys are gay nowadays... the rest claim to be straight, but some are "versatile"...

as the situation goes, i might be pushed to the verge of versatility soon... the call for debate will then be: "who has it better? the guys or the gals?"

minty, send in your photo, together with your "O" and "A" level results.

Hahahaha...it is not often that versatility is seen as a bane.
