At my best, I'm cruel and twisted

I know I am being a little twisted when I say this.

One day when my dad passes away, my mum will go senile.

She's maintaining her sanity just to nag at him from the point of time he enters the door until she has settled to her 大长今 or newspaper or massage chair. So my dad seeks refuge by being out whenever he can, or sleeping early, once he is done with the chinese news.

You can choose your friends but not your fmaily. I have written this line somewhere in this blog before. I must remember that a spouse occupies that in-between area of friend and family. You choose that friend to become family.
