I was walking around Toa Payoh on Saturday. Around the HDBHub area. Where there is a sheltered plaza which is often used for pasar malam, exhibitions, street soccer challenges....

This weekend it was the 19th MINDEF PRIDE DAY exhibition. Showcasing all the various projects by MINDEF personnel that came about through Personal Responsibility In Daily Effort. If you though that was what PRIDE meant? WRONG!

It's PRoductivity and Innovation in Daily Effort. The theme for this year's MINDEF PRIDE Day is - New Mindsets, New Possibilities

The STIKFAS figure above was given free to all participants who answered correctly to questions about the exhibits. There were about 6 questions or so.

The good thing about this particular STIKFAS figure is the sticker set that comes with it. You can basically have him as a lowly (but strategically important) Corporal (CPL) or a Master Sergeant (MSG - hahahaha monosodium glutamate). You can also have him as a Lieutenant (LTA) or a Colonel (COL). Cool.

I'm gonna bring it to base tomorrow. Have fun with colleagues. Like get the COL STIKFAS to do defaulters' parade. Maybe cast some voodoo spells...Yeah!

P.S. I notice that the MINDEF PRIDE STIKFAS is the same colour as Bernardette. Just no boobs. haha
