Vogue vs Krumping

We have to give it to her.
Madonna sets trends. Even in dance.

Since her Vogue days to her current Krumping (like Tommy The Clown) moves in her latest video for Hung Up, she's been doing the weird jerky movements like in the Ray of Light album and the strange hands in the air, hips in spasm moves with Mike Myers as International Man of Mystery Austin Powers in the single Beautiful Stranger

Now, we all know she has a dance scholarship from University of Michigan right? Trained in ballet since young some more. But what's weird is that she's married krumping, which is essentially based on hip hop, with disco. It's obviously disco when the baroesque synthesized melody starts and you remember it from ABBA's Gimme Gimme Gimme!

One day she might stumble upon a Malay wedding and incorporate an improv of the local joget into her next single which will feature drumbeats from a Gendang or melodies from Angklong.

haha so she's evolved from a singer to a dancemove-inventor.

I guess it is very dependent on her producers considering that she can't really write her own songs except for filling in the lyrics.

If she were to get a producer of Malay songs...
