How My Heart Behaves
This could have been a duet between Bjork and Damien Rice.
But Feist and Eirik Glambek Boe together can do the equally well. If not better. It kinda reminds me of the duet between Tori Amos and Damien Rice; The Power Of Orange Knickers. Not sure why.
This is easily my favouritest song of today. I've been listening to it for 39 times (according to iTunes) today. While on my way to dinner and after dinner on my way to HMV Heeren and my way home on the MRT/NEL.

How My Heart Behaves
What grew?
What grew?
What grew and inside who?
First so simple was the vow.
Then the chorus sang about.
Your shoulder,
The mooring for me.
Like water lost in the sea.
The cold heart will burst,
If mistrusted first.
And a calm heart will break,
When given a shake.
I’m a stem now.
Pushing the drought aside.
Opening up.
Fanning my yellow eye.
On the ferry.
That’s making the waves wave.
Illumination.
This is how my heart behaves.
The cold heart will burst,
If mistrusted first.
And a calm heart will break,
When given a shake.
(How her heart behaves) The rain, rain making me cry.
(How her heart behaves) Then the wind comes,
Fanning my yellow eye
(How her heart behaves) The waves wave, the waves wave.
This is how my heart behaves
The cold heart will burst,
If mistrusted first.
And a calm heart will break,
When given a shake.
The cold heart will burst,
If mistrusted first.
And a calm heart will break,
When given a shake.
What grew?
What grew?
What grew and inside who?
~ Feist
And if you know who Eirik Glambek Boe is, I could fall in love with you. :)

I'm torn between this song, "Sea Lion Woman" (because I love Nina Simone), and the wispy vocals on "So Sorry".
A great album nonetheless.
Haha! I was about to think no one else will like a song like Sea Lion Woman. Nina Simone, loved her song That's All I Ask, especially the cover version by Jeff Buckley.
Thanks for coming by. Your blog's great!
