I have not been to a certain watering-hole amongst the bankers and the sort until this year. And within a span of 2 months, I was there thrice. Nope, still don't like the place much and the beer prices are too high.

Friend of mine sings there on Friday nights so I make it a point to go there. She was in Singapore Idol (first edition) and amongst the top twenty. She and her friendster face friend, Kewei, sing covers of almost anything under the sun. Carpenters, Bon Jovi and everybody in between. The songs can be evergreen like Somewhere Over The Rainbow to recent stuff from Amy Winehouse.

Wanted to bum at Timbre but Timmy was not playing and there was a queue outside so we decided to head off for drinks and an early night. It's weird conversation with Ser. Japanese pornography, 9-11 conspiracy and Korean hostages.

No Zouk this weekend. Which isn't a bad thing cause I'm having driving lessons in the morning. After a sleepy afternoon, had a short 40 minute running session before succumbing to McSpicy and upsized fries. I think hubbub spoiled her dinner with McWings. The calories!!! I am having McGuilt.
