Spiderman 3 looms nearer and nearer and it's going to be a blockbuster for sure. Last night while chilling at Shanghai Jazz, friend asked a question which I had never thought of myself.
How are Venom and Carnage related?
It appears that Venom is the father of Carnage. Carnage in the same vein gave "birth" to Toxin. But it's never an easy relationship between a man, his father and his son. Carnage is clearly the uncontrolled problem child. More powerful than Venom and 100% evil. Carnage refused his own spawn, Toxin and Venom had to step in to protect his grandson. Carnage was repulsed by the fact that he had to spawn as well as an inherent fear that Toxin will grow to become stronger and more powerful than he is. Sounds like Curse Of The Golden Peony.
Will we get to see a spin-off movie about this dysfunctional inter-galactic family based in New York? I wouldn't bet a single dollar on it. So how are Venom and Carnage related, well, they're father and son.
