You know what's scary?
It's scary when you choose your deputy for the reason that politically she is advantageous. And not because she is worthy. I have no problem with women in politics.
But....I have a problem with incompetence in office. I hope more Americans read newspapers.

in the particular case of politics, don't u think that choosing a worthy deputy makes it politically advantageous? similarly, choosing a deputy who is politically advantageous makes the deputy a worthy partner?
seems more than just a game of competence and qualifications to me.
it is always politically advantageous to be on the winning team (provided that you do want to win). that's why i said it was scary. not right, not wrong. just scary.
