Reader's Digest

I cannot verify this.
Recently we were sharing a few jokes and one of the guys who reads Reader's Digest started this one supposedly found in Reader's Digest.

A: What is the name of this ship?
B: What, is the name of this ship.
A: That was what I asked.
B: Yes, that's What!
Ok, so some were laughing and black crows started flying across* and three drops of sweat formed on the temple* of the rest.

*you won't get it if you don't watch Taiwanese variety shows.

So the guy quickly explained that some of the jokes in Reader's Digest are not funny.

And I replied that it was because the jokes are submitted by readers.

That joiner received even less laughter except for my Comms O who understood sarcasm.
