the saddest thing about finding neverland is coming out of the theatre still the same person you went in as. no epiphanies. no great revelation. there was enlightenment sure. but just a wee bit. what has been told was already known. it's just the bitterness of knowing that yes, i have lost whatever the movie was trying to bring across. this whimsicality, bewilderment, zest for life, joie de vivre that is lost. never to be found. and no movie will have half a chance of bring it back. never finding land.
