This September, the SYC Ensemble Singers explore the darkly dramatic worlds of Spanish poetry and dance. From the lyricism of Basque verse to the surrealism of Lorca, from son and bossa nova to tango, the Spaniard in all of us is given emotional expression through the music of Rautavaara, Margutti, Russo, Grau, Valera and Piazzolla-Zentner. Join us as we sing of black ponies and red moons, and vocally dance the night away. | |
