So what happened to truths?

Pluto is no longer a part of the solar system.

I remember primary school science lessons when the solar system was first introduced.
Ms Wong (now Mrs Tan I think...) was telling us about how to remember the planets in sequence quickly.

Much like the colours of the rainbow: Richard Of York Gave Battle In Vain or Richard Of York Goes Boating In Venice. Something like that.

So the solar system became: My Very Efficient Mother Just Served Us Nine Potatoes.

Now we can't have Potatoes. Only Nachos.

The winner on Kottke for the Pluto mnemonic device contest was: My! Very educated morons just screwed up numerous planeteriums.

I'm thinking. What will happen to astrology readings? Some time ago, they had to determine how in the world (or heaven) Pluto might influence everybody. Now do astrologers discount the effects of Pluto?

It's not part of the solar system anymore. It's been classified as a "dwarf planet". Like the Gimli of planetary bodies.
Check out Pluto on left. Normal solar-system planetary size.

Check out Pluto on right. Gimli-sized! Dwarf planet.

Same same. But Different!

*bits of trivia: Pluto the dog was named after the planet as they were introduced to the world at large in the same year!

Brightened up my corner

Major Leagues

Lip balm on watery clay,
Relationships hey hey hey
You kiss like a rock
But you know I need it anyway
Angle for the ringside seats
When they fall
Don't blame me

Bring on the Major Leagues
Bring on the
Major Leagues
Bring on the Major Leagues
Bring on the Major Leagues

How you gonna teach him to walk
When he can't even finish the
He can't even finish the songs of the law
Are they civilized or satanist?
Cater to my walls and see if they fall
Don't leave me

Bring on the Major Leagues
Bring on the
Major Leagues
Bring on the Major Leagues
Bring on the Major Leagues

They wear you down sometimes
Kids like wine,
Magic christians chew the rind
Cause bad girls are always bad girls
Let's let'em in
Darling we're up against it
And there is no time for
Tie-ins tie-ins tie-ins GO!

Bring on the Major Leagues
Bring on the

Bring on the Major Leagues
Bring on the Major Leagues

They'll wear you down sometime
Kiss the wine,
Magic Christians chew the rind
Cause bad girls are always bad girls

Kept me occupied for an hour

I was looking through Banksy's website.

He's a graffiti artist from Bristol who had and will continue to commit subversive acts in public. His art, when viewed with an open mind, a sense of humour and some thinking will leave one smiling - poignantly, perhaps.

Those familiar with Blur's Think Tank album would have seen his art before.

"The time of getting fame for your name on its own is over. Artwork that is only about wanting to be famous will never make you famous. Any fame is a by-product of making something that means something. You don't go to a restaurant and order a meal because you want to have a shit." - Banksy

My horoscope

The weight of too many responsibilities, perhaps involving family, maybe concerning a job or group affiliation, could be very much on your mind today, dear Pisces. You may feel like Atlas, carrying the world on his shoulders! And you're tired. Perhaps you need to re-evaluate your commitments. Your innate kindness may have caused you to make too many. Fulfill the ones you have, but think twice before making any new ones. You're important, too, after all.

Is it a mere coincidence

That Comfort of Strangers, the fantabulous title track from that fantabulous album by Beth Orton is written by m.ward and jim o'rourke and produced by the latter?

Let Go Of That Weight You've Been Carrying

I think that the conscious life, as a journey, should never be travelled alone.
Not for the great part of it anyways.
Perhaps during certain bits of the journey, like when you got to go pee or something like that.

The burden of everyday life can be halved simply by sharing it.
A problem shared is a problem halved.
Sharing a problem is not an easy thing for everyone.
I don't mean work, masqueraded as problems, which can be delegated.
I mean problems that cannot unravel.
A Gordian knot in your life.

A partner, someone who may not understand completely but is willing to go the distance.
There are many things in life that cannot be controlled.
Trying to manipulate them in order to achieve some aims may seem feasible.
But like the rock of Sisyphus, it always comes tumbling back down.

Sometimes all we need to learn is to let go of that weight that we've been carrying.

Blue Sky Blues

Blue sky,
When you gonna learn to rain?
And let yourself go blue for once
And let go of that weight
You've been carrying
In this house,
No one goes to sleep for days
It's like were working on a mountainside
Trying not to slide
Into the ocean

I can take care of you
But only if you want
I'm strong enough to carry you
Across the icy lake
Across the icy lake
But I can't fight your blues
'Cause I know I'll lose
What's left of my mind
I can't win
But for you I will try
My baby blue

My mountain
Is hidden in a pile of trees
And she's the one I'll have to climb
If I ever wanna see
Over the ocean
Blue sky
When you gonna learn to rain?
And let yourself go blue for once
And let go of that pain?

I can take care of you
The way you'd like to feel
Underneath the riverbed
Across the icy lake
Across the icy lake
But I can't fight your blues
'Cause I know I'll lose
What's left of my mind
I can't win
But for you I will try
For you
My baby blue

Ronnefeldt Teas

Passerby was asking me where to get Ronnefeldt Teas. These are like the super atas teas. I have never tasted teas by Ronnefeldt. I have only used their sleeping teapots which is what Big O cafe serve their teas by the pot in. It was supppose to be my X'mas gift to myself last year. But I decided to get some other stuff. Was it the Schott Zwiesel glasses? I think it was.

I do know that they (Ronnefeldt) have like trillions of flavours, infusions etc...ok. The number is actually closer to "more than a hundred" but that's like "trillions" figuratively. It's like some kids say that there are "millions and millions of stars" when in actual fact, there are gazillions of stars in the galaxy. By definition, a "gazillion" is the number one (1) followed by many zeroes (0). Like for example: 1,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 etc etc.

The places that serve Ronnefeldt in Singapore will similarly be rather atas. Shangri-la is one. Another is at Fullerton. I don't know about retail or even who imports Ronnefeldt teas but I guess if you're having afternoon tea at the Rose Veranda at Shang, you can grab a couple of sachets, nobody will care. Shang carries almost the full range of Ronnefeldt teas. 101 flavours. Served in Wedgwood tea sets ok. Don't play play. Another atas brand. Not the usual Royal Copenhagen or Royal Doulton. Who cares about Royalty these days. Shit, Royal Doulton makes porcelain toilet bowls lor.

So, any of you out there can find Ronnefeldt Teas on retail, please let Passerby know.

Cheers!

Sesame Street Wishlist

I wanna listen/watch the following:

1: This rainy day song where the lyrics go "it's a rainy day, it's a rainy day, it's raining outside and we can't go out to play, why must we need the rain, anyway."

and it ends with some reasons why we need the rain...like to cause flood, spread diseases, tsunami..of course not.

2: This song where the lyrics go "is a postman a person in your neighbour, in your neighbourhood, in your neighbourhood? he's the person that you meet, when you're walking down the street, they're the people that you meet, each day!"

3: The imagination song by Ernie. "Sometimes I imagine, that I would like to be, a daring bold explorer, sailing far across the sea"

Please! Anyone?

I cannot believe they have this on YOUTUBE

I'm on a trip down memory lane....straight for Sesame Street.

hands up those who remember these words:

"a loaf of bread, a container of milk and a stick of butter"

Johnny Cash on Sesame Street!

Brilliant!

It sounds like a cheerio song about learning to count but the melody is actually from this Johnny Cash song called Don't Take Your Guns To Town.

Violent little number this song.

Don't Take Your Guns To Town
A young cowboy named Billy Joe grew restless on the farm
A boy filled with wonderlust who really meant no harm
He changed his clothes and shined his boots
And combed his dark hair down
And his mother cried as he walked out

Chorus
Don't take your guns to town son
Leave your guns at home Bill
Don't take your guns to town

He laughed and kissed his mom
And said your Billy Joe's a man
I can shoot as quick and straight as anybody can
But I wouldn't shoot without a cause
I'd gun nobody down
But she cried again as he rode away

Chorus
Don't take your guns to town son
Leave your guns at home Bill
Don't take your guns to town

He sang a song as on he rode
His guns hung at his hips
He rode into a cattle town
A smile upon his lips
He stopped and walked into a bar
And laid his money down
But his mother's words echoed again

Chorus
Don't take your guns to town son
Leave your guns at home Bill
Don't take your guns to town

He drank his first strong liquor then to calm his shaking hand
And tried to tell himself he had become a man
A dusty cowpoke at his side began to laugh him down
And he heard again his mothers words

Chorus
Don't take your guns to town son
Leave your guns at home Bill
Don't take your guns to town

Filled with rage then
Billy Joe reached for his gun to draw
But the stranger drew his gun and fired
Before he even saw
As Billy Joe fell to the floor
The crowd all gathered 'round
And wondered at his final words

Chorus
Don't take your guns to town son
Leave your guns at home Bill
Don't take your guns to town

Whatever Happened To Them?

So where is this girl now?

The last part when she whispers "I love you" just makes you go "awwwwww...." doesn't it?

My dream girl in role playing

I'm a jealous boy.
Elmo gets to be in a costume role-play with my dream girl Natalie Portman

Hmmph!

How Crayons Are Made

Things like this, makes me happy inside.

Really happy.

It reminds me of Saturday afternoons at my grandma place, watching SBC Channel 5. I think it's 1pm. or is it 12 till 1 pm. Cannot remember that.

crazy

i was trying to get my lens out (genetically inferior, sigh) and my eye started smarting because there was remnant lime juice on my fingers.
i then thought how i should train my left hand to get the lens out while i am still injury free.
one day i might sprain my right wrist or something and cannot remove or put on my lens.

crazy.

I hate the questions in this one

The beauty of life, sometimes, is that you cannot change your past.
You may change the decisions you are still making but those which you have taken, you can't really go back to them and choose otherwise.

When asked this question - "If you can go back to your past and change anything, what would you change?", maybe not these exact words but similar, quite a couple of celebrities (this question is often posed to them, perhaps the rest of us lead rather worthless life and doesn't make a difference to anybody) will answer that they don't wanna change anything. How they've grabbed life by the balls horns and lived their lives to the fullest.

Rewind

It's your time
It's your day
It's never too late
To change lanes
How's your life?
How's your place?
Was it where you wanted
Your head to lay?

But wait, you can breathe
You can see what I can see
Don't waste your time
You can't make back

If you could rewind your time
Would you change your life?

Do you like you?
Do you love your wife?
Or did you pick what
You're told was right?

Dream and be
What you feel
Don't you compromise
What you wanna be

'Cause change is okay
What's the point in staying the same
Regrets, forget what's dead and gone

If you could rewind your time
Would you change your life?

If Jesus rode in on a camel today
With your cross on his shoulder
Time to take you away
Have you done all you wanted?
Are you happy and warm?
Do you miss someone special
You don't see anymore?
Have you blood on your hands?
Do you dream of white sands?
Can you sleep well at night?
Have you done all you can?
The place I was born in
Stays crooked and straight
I see innocent blue eyes
Go blind everyday

Rewind your time
Would you change your life

Best Covers

No, this is not an entry about duvets, comforters, blankets, bedsheets.

This is not about album covers (I might do that one day but...) that debates about whether or not Joy Division/New Order under Peter Saville had the best album covers and if the new Coldplay album cover was a tribute to them....
unknown pleasures
Should read this first....LINK

Personally, my favourite album cover is _____________(yet to be determined).

This is about covers as in cover versions. Like Westlife, K One, Black Box Recorder doing Terry Jacks' Seasons In The Sun. Anyone know that this was originally a french song named Le Moribond (The Dying Man)?

There are more than ten covers that I personally enjoy so I had a really hard time choosing which ones to put into my top ten. I decided to leave those in close contention in for posterity.

Some bands/singers can do fantastic covers eg. Jeff Buckley, Tori Amos, Pet Shop Boys...
Some bands/singers have many covers done on their fantastic songs eg. U2, Leonard Cohen, Bob Dylan, Elvis, The Smiths, The Beatles...
Some fantastic bands (U2, REM) can't do covers...well barely.
Some fantastic songs are not well covered (Jamie Cullum should never have covered Jeff Buckley's Lover, You Should've Come Over - sacrilegious! or Radiohead's High And Dry - blasphemous!).

But below are ten (plus ten twelve) songs that I thoroughly enjoy and just so happen to be cover versions. As far as possible I tried to include as much information about the songs as possible and a bit of a blurb. I might be wrong but hey it's my blog.
They are not in any order but the top ten will beat the bottom ten, sort of.
And these cover version that I enjoy usually differ very much from the original
eg. Knockin' On Heaven's Door originally by Bob Dylan covered by Guns & Roses and Comfortably Numb orginally by Pink Floyd covered by Scissor Sisters. These two songs, however great, I can't comment because I have yet to listen to the original Knockin' On Heaven's Door and I have yet to listen to Scissor Sisters' take on Comfortably Numb.
You won't find Westlife in this list. But there is Take That lurking in the corner.....

The song titles are in RED and original singers in parenthesis and the album which the cover can be found in BLUE

1. Hallelujah - Jeff Buckley (Leonard Cohen) Grace

But all I've ever learned from love
Was how to shoot somebody who outdrew you

2. I Wish I Never Saw The Sunshine - Beth Orton (The Ronettes) Trailer Park

a million miles away,
I will keep myself,
I would find a way

5. Time - Tori Amos (Tom Waits) Strange Little Girls
And Matilda asks the sailors are those dreams
Or are those prayers
So just close your eyes, son
And this won't hurt a bit

6. I Saw The Light - Lori Carson (Todd Rundgren) Everything I Touch Runs Wild
Then you gazed up at me
And the answer was plain to see
7. Across The Universe - Fiona Apple, Rufus Wainwright, The Smiths (The Beatles) Pleasantville OST, I Am Sam OST, live bootlegs
Pools of sorrow waves of joy are drifting through my open mind, Possessing and caressing me

Trying to make the best of my time

20.You Only Live Twice - Björk (Nancy Sinatra) never released commercially
You only live twice or so it seems
One life for yourself and one for your dreams
You drift through the years and life seems tame
Till one dream appears and love is its name

21.Heartbeats - José González (The Knife) Veneer
To call for hands of above, to lean on
Wouldn't be good enough for me, no

22.Mad World - Gary Jules (Tears For Fears) Trading Snakeoil For Wolftickets
The dreams in which I am dying are the best I've ever had.

So there!

Are there any worthies that I might have missed?

I like this........

I'm sure you will too!

Waterspout news on Channel News Asia

There was this report on Channel News Asia about a waterspout spotted off Sentosa on Sunday afternoon.

Not uncommon leh. Perhaps because it was on a Sunday and visible to the sun-worshippers on the beach that allowed this to be broadcasted.

Water spout in Singapore Straits

This was taken in the waters off Singapore coast too. But not on a Sunday and nowhere near Sentosa.

Nothing to show for

Except for a few pics that won't really worth my time to put up.

I'm thinking of spending some serious money in the coming months. New laptop, new camera and don't know....

Reader's Digest

I cannot verify this.
Recently we were sharing a few jokes and one of the guys who reads Reader's Digest started this one supposedly found in Reader's Digest.

A: What is the name of this ship?
B: What, is the name of this ship.
A: That was what I asked.
B: Yes, that's What!
Ok, so some were laughing and black crows started flying across* and three drops of sweat formed on the temple* of the rest.

*you won't get it if you don't watch Taiwanese variety shows.

So the guy quickly explained that some of the jokes in Reader's Digest are not funny.

And I replied that it was because the jokes are submitted by readers.

That joiner received even less laughter except for my Comms O who understood sarcasm.

I wanna go ..............

take peekatures!

Inaccuracies of Hollywood

Many have watched and laughed during the first Pirates when Singapore was mentioned in the same breath as the whale bone corset being stripped off expertly by Jack. Well, Singapore was again mentioned in the second Pirates when Will Turner was looking for Jack. Apparently he was on our shores.

Or did he really?

The setting of the movie didn't seem to be in the early 19th century, which was when Singapore was officially called Singapore by the East India Company. 1819 right? Raffles and all that. So how could Jack and other pirates know about Singapore. Singapura or Temasek maybe, but Singapore???

And some of the seamen were using the word "port". Well, port is a new label as well. Much used only in the late 19th century. The portside of a ship used to be larboard. there was starboard....and it sounded similar to starboard so larboard was dropped. But the origin of the words, starboard and larboard was this: starboard is the steering side, where the rudder was. So it's like an old form of English...and larboard was where goods were laden from while ship is in harbour. Simple logic is because the ships do not want to risk their rudders hitting the wharf hence they always berth with the larboard side. Larboard sounded to similar to starboard and hence Port was chosen instead. reflecting how the ships of yesterday loaded things from.

Little Known Sad Fact Of Life

I'll start with a preamble - I like long blog entries because I know I don't read them.

We were activated for a sailing assignment soon after National Day. After we were stood down, instead of the original plan to watch the fireworks just off Bedok, we were ordered to head ashore. The pipe was made and soon the guys were preparing the upper deck for alongside. I found him seated, alone, beside his regrets, memories and unfulfilled objectives. It was only polite to leave him be.

It was my XO's last sailing.

Not many know this but a naval career is seriously not suitable for any Tom, Dick and Harry. To put it colloquially; Kok Leong, Kah Meng and Boon Huat.

Well, people can argue that the same goes for any career. They are probably right. Sailors like us will never know because most of us have never held any other permanent jobs. That's is the nature of a military career. There is only a single intake point, when you are a bright, hopeful and perhaps a tad bit naive late teen or early twenty-something.

During the sailing, we were gossiping about the state of relationships of the guys onboard. There's a new chap who just broke up with his girlfriend of two years on National Day. Then there are the confessions of hedonistic escapades when the ship was in Sattahip which is just about a slightly more than 30 minutes away from Pattaya.

Good Guys Go To Heaven. Bad Guys Go To Pattaya.

There was the case of this guy who was so scared of his wife that it became a running joke amongst the crew. Legend has it that he is a wild stallion when the missus is not around. The evidence stamped in his passport after his jaunts to Hattyai were carefully erased using an ink eraser. And to eliminate further suspicion, he will even go back to base from the airport, change out of his civilians and into his coveralls.

Desperation, is a tender trap.

So what can possibly be going through my XO's mind as he sat there, head cocked slightly to his left and the chin jutting out, fingering his stubble with his index and thumb? What will I be thinking of when I reach his stage, at twenty-nine, having not updated my resume, not to mention not having formally written one. What is there left of a naval career, cut short by ambition, dreams and hopes of a better future, outside. Is there no alternative to having to bring about an end which is inevitable, accelerated by circumstances, systems and plans and policy?

Maybe in another ten years time, he will remember having been the Executive Officer onboard the first class of missile-armed craft in the navy. A 45-metre menace with an arsenal of pain. Though she is on the wrong side of thirty but nobody else in the region is able have her running at her prime. Not like we can. It's a bitch to maintain her but the rewards - insurmountable.

Or so we are told. Or led to believe.

So what is there to remember? The many promises he broke because of "operations"? The failure to turn up for appointments because of "standbys"? The tough time having to explain away why because of "operational exgencies" that planned holiday will need to be shelved. So what is there to remember?

Perhaps remembering the cosy 8-bunked officers' cabin where we shared many meals, watched pirated movies, staged mock interrogations, took part in pseudo-sado-masochist rituals and a slew of other "not suitable for the young" activities? Perhaps the adrenaline kick when the wind comes at you, all 40 knots worth of, in the last remaining open bridge in the flotilla, deafening you at the same time opening up your sense for situational awarenes . Perhaps the entire experience of having served onboard a ship that had seen several transfiguration from the removal of Y-Gun, removal of Gabriel missiles, installation of the MISTRAL surface to air missile pad, installation of the Harpoon missile deck, addition of compartment space, system upgrades upon system upgrades. Where the archives and heritage of every ship in the squadron reads like a Who's Who in the navy fraternity.

No girls allowed. Except for the brief period of two years when one ship was commandered by a female.

In another two years time, I will be the person alone with my thoughts. And as I reminisce, what will be running through my head?

i am scrobbling - are you?

Go grab a pen and join join join people!

What I think of the movie "Lady In The Water"

I thought the movie was a rough handling on topics like "how we are all connected to one another" - a bastard form of "six degrees of kevin bacon"...sorta. It's also about finding your own identity. Like, questions asked by Socrates, Plato, Aristotle....What is the meaning of life...
Also there were themes of "no man is an island"... by metaphysical poet John Donne, letting go of your past by talking to a group gathered around you in a circle of trust...abit like alcoholic anonymous I guess - Hi, my name is [insert name here] and I have been an alcoholic since 1997, think global, act local - be in for world peace, environmental issues blah blah.....all done through the use of a fable - A Bedtime Story - as Night Shaymalalnklsdal would have you believe.

And in order to achieve world peace etc...you need to get a cynical film critic mauled by a lycan-esque creature who in turn gets pounded and dragged into a moribund state by a trio of primates looking like extras from Planets of the Ape (one did look like Helena Bonham Carter-Burton. Sorta..You also need a guy with a past he cannot forget (Paul Giamatti) and a korean chick (not Sandra Oh but a look-a-like) - sorta like Sideways, but not exactly. Also you gotta borrow some Chinese wuxia legend - The Condor from Return Of The Condor Heroes so that "lady in the water" can be air-freight away. She could have been DHL or UPS away. But then it wouldn't be a bedtime story worth telling..... You also need a dad who, instead of doing sudoku which is all the rage now, is still doing crossword puzzles and his son who "reads" cereal boxes, seven sisters - actually a name of a group of seven stars......but ultimately, what do you need? A book titled "The Cookbook" by the director who made more than a cameo in this movie. It is to be read by some kid who will be king, ok, president and do great deeds so Night Shyamalan appear more than a couple of seconds...

But overall it's a rather enjoyable movie. About how people destined for greatness may still be scared to ascend to such greatness, how in order to ascend to such greatness, you need a group of people who mean well and willing to help, and people who are willing to help sometimes need more help....and sometimes the people who want to help may not have the capacity to help....so you gotta know someone who knows someone who can get things done....it's called networking.....so Night Shyamalan, the director who gave us classics like Signs, Sixth Sense made a movie about networking?

Highlight of the movie was the director of cinematography/photography blah blah was Christopher Doyle.

Boredom

Decided to do a post on school motto:

On ACS: The Best Is Yet To Be - like a teacher's euphemism for "this boy play too much. Should concentrate in class more. Or a silly excuse of a reason for telling people it'll always have potential. meaning underperforming? But really it is a line from a robert browning poem.

On Raffles: Auspicium Melioris Aevi, shares the same motto as the Order of St Michael and St George. Meaning "Token Of A Better Age". RGS is slightly different: Filiae Melioris Aev - Daughters Of A Better Age

On Victoria: Nil Sine Labore - Nothing Without Labour. Shares the same motto as Gilgandra High School. Was looking through the alumnus. Besides current CDF, the current Chief of Air Force is also a former Victorian. And not forgetting President Nathan, Yusof Ishak and Nair.

Funny thing is this. According to wikipedia entries, ACS claims President Nathan as an alumni as well. Raffles claims President Yusof Ishak. President Nair, no doubt, is a Victorian.
=)

DJ Shadow - missed

I spent over $20 to check that I will give his Green Room Session a miss. I saw the FULL-HOUSE signage outside Phuture, the snaking queue from Velvet all the way to the edge of Grand Copthorne Waterfront and the impossibly forbidding queue from Zouk to Zouk carpark. Add it all up with an already 80% packed main room (Fullscreamriot was already in there) equals a likely unpleasant night for me. Especially since I just came off from a rather rough sailing this afternoon.

I hope the tourists have fun. And the people who got dragged along by friends who told them how great DJ Shadow is. Have lots of fun. Go on.

Life's gonna pretty much suck till the end of August.

Worn out places
Worn out faces
Bright and early for the daily races
Going no where
Going no where
Their tears are filling up their glasses
No expression
No expression
Hide my head I wanna drown my sorrow
No tomorrow
No tomorrow
And I find I kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I’m dying are the best I’ve ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles its a very very
Mad world
Mad world
Children waiting for the day they feel good
Happy birthday
Happy birthday
And I feel the way that every child should
Sit and listen
Sit and listen
Went to school and I was very nervous
No one knew me
No one knew me
Hello teacher tell me what’s my lesson
Look right through me
Look right through me
And I find I kind of funny
I find it kind of sad
The dreams in which I’m dying are the best I’ve ever had
I find it hard to tell you
I find it hard to take
When people run in circles its a very very
Mad world
Mad world
Enlarging your world
Mad world

Feeling Stupid?

Whenever you feel a little on the dumb side.....

Boost your intellect!

Pop two Arcalion to stretch those grey matter of yours!

Sarcasm and Irony

Irony is wasted on the stupid.

Sarcasm as well.

So when you next have somebody tell you that you are lame.....you should just say that you are as funny as s/he is witty.

Panda Cigarettes - as promised!

Like I said previously, I will be posting the pictures of the boxes soon....

So here they are!

Male Panda: Wow! My all time favourite! Kung Pao Bamboo shoots!

Female Panda (on left): My humps, my humps, my lovely lady lumps, check it out!

Male Panda (on right): Bamboo shoots are better than sex....(rustling sounds of bamboo leaves and chewing noises)

Heartbeats

I first saw the SONY - BRAVIA ad off wurh.

The ad was so captivating. More so after learning that it was not CGI.

It also made me notice José González.

But now I know that it was actually a cover. The Knife sang this song way back...

And guess what, the recent track I like from Röyksopp features the vocals of Karin Dreijer who is also one half of The Knife. The song is What Else Is There?
